For those living in Tokyo, Kanagawa, the most recommended tourist spot is Izu, among them Izukogen. Izukogen is a famous sightseeing spot, but I think that its goodness has not been reported so much. Izukogen is a name with a plateau, but the sea spreads near the station, there are several fishing ports, diving spots are near, too. And as the name suggests, the plateau is spreading as well. There is also a lake. In the vicinity there are a lot of leisure land for families, parks, museums and many others. Food and beverage facilities are enriched, and hot springs are also gushing up. Cherry blossoms are also beautiful in the spring, and summer fireworks festival is also a wonderful thing. In order to enjoy Izukogen, where there are so many things, I think that it is too small for a trip of about two nights and three days. I rent cheap cottages and apartments and enjoy my leisure by staying for at least a week. When I enjoyed the Izukogen field life, I also found many different places. For example, some fishmongers near the fishing port in the vicinity are cheap, about 500 yen per serving, and you can share the sashimi of fresh fish taken on that day. Every time I go to Izukogen, after having entered hot springs, I am refreshing this fresh sashimi with my family.
